Entertainment
Medieval entertainment is very different compared to what we do today. Some of these forms of entertainment still exist today. Some of the best entertainment in the Middle Ages was jousting. It was where two people on horseback would ride towards each other with lances. Whoever fell off their horse first lost. The event was actually supposed to train both knights for warfare. This event is still around today but it has different purposes.
Another form of entertainment was archery. This is where multiple opponents stood in a line in front of a target. They would shoot arrows at the target and Try to be as accurate as possible. The winner was whoever was the closest to the bulls eye. It was used to train for war also. Like jousting the sport is still present today. For modern archery though, people use lighter materials for bows and arrows.
